This is Brittany Trejo. She is an Up With People student from Belize. Meeting her the other day was emotional. My old UWP cast sponsors a student from Latin America every year – and we do it in honor of Gaby Bedolla, who passed away in 2003. Brittany is ”our” student this year, and many of us have collaborated to make her journey possible. She is making us – Gaby’s extended family around the world – very proud.
